"Welcome to Rigid Float heaven"

November 11, 2020

Roy,

Thank you for the review of the ViV Lab Rigid Float tonearm. It was a very interesting and informative read. I have been using my RF7 HA now for two years with an Ortofon SPU Meister Silver and I’m still over the moon with its performance. I wish you had mention more about its tracking ability, as I have found that it tracked records that even my Kuzma 4 Point couldn’t. Some evening I play an album I haven’t heard for a long time (usually the first as a warm-up) and after singing along, tapping my feet, playing the drums, I think I might as well turn my system off, as I know nothing is going to entertain me as much that evening. And it does this evening after evening. Welcome to Rigid Float heaven.

Jon Nelson

PS -- I think you will need to dump all your setting-up jigs, as I have.

Marc,

I stumbled across your site looking for reviews of the Audio-Technica AT-LP7 turntable. I retired and have been away from my vinyl for years. I still have my 1976 Pioneer SA-9500 and Klipsch Cornwall speakers, which were considered audiophile-class at that time.

I’m looking for paths to get where I want to be and have found The Audio Beat the best place, not only for components, but albums reviews and so much more. Well done.
