The EgglestonWorks Emma EVO looks and sounds like a five-figure speaker, but it costs $5490 per pair. It features a slightly larger cabinet -- two inches taller and deeper -- than the speaker it replaces and uses a new bracing scheme. It also uses "tweaked drivers," according to Jim Thompson of EgglestonWorks.

The cabinet is modeled on that of the much larger and more expensive Viginti and uses a rear-firing slot port. The specified low-frequency figure is impressive -- 32Hz. Sensitivity is stated as 88dB, and nominal impedance is 6 ohms.
