The new Basis Audio Inspiration turntable ($45,000) is a further refinement of the company's analog-playback philosophy, which utilizes vacuum hold-down of the LP and a beefy, highly stable power supply. The Inspiration is compact in size, yet it weighs 100 pounds. The Basis Vector tonearm is included in the cost of the package. A.J.
