Imagine the size and complexity required to produce an eight-driver speaker. Well, JH Audio's JH 16 Pros ($1149) are the personal-listening equivalent of such a speaker. They are the first eight-driver, three-way, triple-bore in-ear monitors. They use two drivers for high frequencies, two for midrange, and four for bass. The bores, or canals through which the sound passes, are precisely engineered in terms of length and volume in order to align the output of the drivers properly. Sensitivity is 119dB, impedance is 10 ohms, and noise isolation is 26dB, so the JH 16 Pros will be easy to drive and will isolate you well from the outside world.
