Impressed with CH Precision?

August 8, 2019

Marc,

I just wanted to know if you’ve spent any time with CH Precision products and if so, are you as impressed as Messrs. Gregory and Davis in the recently published review?

I feel that the one-year warranty seems a bit light compared to industry norms.

Otherwise, the brand seems very progressive -- very reminiscent of one’s computer with all the various cards and slots to modify the system to one’s own spec.

My experience with CH Precision electronics in my system was limited to what I expressed in this sentence from my article on the amazing Paradise Valley system: "I spent a couple of glorious afternoons playing records with a P1 phono stage ($31,500, plus $1850 for EQ card) and X1 power supply, and it extracted more music from the grooves than seemed to exist." Playing LPs with the P1 was memorable. I wish I could afford to buy one, with or without an X1 power supply. -Marc Mickelson

"Could you add me . . . ?"
