Top Audio Video 2010

Seen at the Munich show earlier in the year with its enclosure spread apart to display the high-tech innards, this is how T+A’s new flagship hybrid M10 monoblock ($33,000/pair) looks fully assembled. Depending on the setup, the amplifiers can deliver from 60W pure-class-A power to a kilowatt in class AB.

Less costly than the T+A record decks that match the V-series amps, the G 1260 R LP spinner is a simplified belt-drive player complete with a Rega tonearm and Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge ($3250 with tonearm only, $3600 with tonearm and Ortofon cartridge). An internal phono stage (installed in the 'table's plinth) is available for $700.
