Bobby Palkovic, 1952-2015

he sudden death on August 20, 2015 of longtime friend and loudspeaker maker/designer Bobby Palkovic came as a shock to us at The Audio Beat. The last time any of us spoke to the founder of Merlin Music Systems, Bobby seemed upbeat and optimistic, which makes the fact that he took his own life seem all the more unbelievable. As admirers of his body of work, we are very sad to think that his last days were desperate ones. We will deeply miss his personal warmth and good humor.

Rest in peace, Bobby Palkovic.
