Trigon is a German company that makes preamps and power amps alongside the Chronolog music server, which has an onboard DAC and optional SSD or HDD storage. This offers a few unusual features, such as a Firefox add-on for YouTube streaming, web radio support, support for nearly every file format under the sun (except DSD), track caching and editing by web portal. It works with Apple control points and has single-ended and balanced outputs. The list of features goes on, but it does not describe the build quality, which is a cut above average. The price for a 70GB SSD version is £4850, with the 1TB SSD adding an extra £950. External storage can also be used.
