Kralk’s BC-30 minimonitor (£349/pair) is constructed from a single piece of Birch plywood that's veneered on the outside and felt-lined on the inside. Features include a 5" doped-paper midrange-bass driver, a 1" fluid-cooled tweeter with Kralk’s own 1/4"-thick solid-aluminum faceplate, Van Damme cable within, and a hand-built crossover The speakers have a 90dB sensitivity. For an extra £349/pair (in black, £440 with a matching speaker veneer), you can attach the speaker to its own XB1 bass extender replete with a side-mounted port to enable positioning close to the rear wall.
