Nordost had a strong lineup of new products, including an update to its Valhalla 2 phono cable and a new system enhancer.

The Valhalla 2+ tonearm cable ($4999.99 for a 1.25-meter length, plus $625 for each additional half meter) uses four silver-plated solid-core OFC conductors arranged in a twisted pair and then wrapped in a braided silver shield.

In addition, the cable includes two detachable ground leads (one at each end) in addition to the two fixed ground leads for added versatility in lowering noise by connecting to the cable’s ground shield.

Nordost’s Q Point Resonance Synchronizer ($747.99) looks like a slightly large hockey puck and is designed to emit a field to synchronize the out-of-synch vibrations within any component. Ideal placement is under a component, although the Synchronizer can also be placed on top if underneath is not practical. Each Synchronizer is powered by a supplied wall-wart power supply. Start with your line stage and then add Synchronizers to your digital source and so on down the line.

For better performance of the Synchronizer, Nordost also offers a Q Source linear power supply ($2499.99) that can power up to four Synchronizers.

It can also be used as an independent power supply for other DC-dependent audio components. The Source connects to Synchronizers via Q Source DC cables ($259.99 to $359.99 depending on termination and length), available in LEMO-to-LEMO or LEMO-to-DC connectors in 1-, 1.5- and 2-meter lengths.
