AMG introduced the Viella Forte 12 Turbo turntable ($30,000). Although quite svelte in comparison to some of the behemoth record players on display in many rooms, the Forte 12 is the super-sized version of AMG’s existing Viella ‘table. The additional mass and rigidity are said to provide greater macrodynamics, retrieval of inner detail and effortlessness than its smaller sibling. The 23kg plinth is milled from solid aluminum billet, and the 14kg platter is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum.

The electronics have been redesigned for quicker startup. The 'table comes with an AMG 12JT Turbo tonearm. The Forte 12 is also available (for an additional $2000) in an engraved version that has a CNC-machined geometric pattern on the plinth.
