Amphion's Argon 7L embodies all of the company's beliefs -- high-quality drivers, a waveguide for the tweeter, extremely simple crossovers, well-braced enclosures -- in a midsize floorstander that's 93dB sensitive and costs $6000 per pair in white or black finish. Amphion's Anssi Hyvönen offered, "It has a flat frequency-response curve, but it doesn't sound like that," his way of saying that the 7L is both accurate and musical.
