Daniel Lee is the "Daniel" in Mark & Daniel, whose Fantasia-S speaker ($13,800/pair) debuted at CES. It features a cabinet made completely of "compound marble," a Corian-like material that's twice as dense as MDF.

The speaker's AMT driver covers the range from 650Hz to 20kHz, earning its "wideband" nickname. The top-mounted supertweeter is omnidirectional.

The Fantasia-S's head unit pivots. According to the company, this is purely for making toeing in such a heavy speaker easier. Daniel Lee was especially proud of the fact that Mark & Daniel makes "everything" used for its speakers -- from the cabinets to the drivers to the binding posts.
